How we review offers
Every offer on HonestPerks is checked by a person before it goes live. Here is exactly what we check, what we skip, and what we can't verify for you.
What we check before an offer goes live
- We read the offer itself. We open the advertiser's page and note what you get, what you have to do, and whether it costs anything.
- We check what it costs you. Every offer gets one plain label: Free, Free trial · card needed or Purchase needed. Free trials and paid deals sit in their own tabs, so they never mix in with free offers.
- We check the rules for promoting it. We only list offers whose advertiser allows a site like ours to promote them.
- We check our ad network has approved us. An offer goes live only when the network has approved HonestPerks for it and given us a working link.
- We write our own wording. We describe each offer in plain words and add a short "How it works", so nothing is a surprise on the advertiser's site.
What we never list
- Credit cards, loans, cash advances, banking, investing and insurance products.
- Gambling, crypto, adult products, diet pills and supplements.
- "Just pay shipping" offers and trials that quietly turn into repeat charges.
- Offers whose advertiser doesn't allow rewards or deal sites like ours.
- Offers that promise income, "free money" or guaranteed prizes.
After an offer goes live
- Every day we re-check each offer with our ad network. If it stops running or we lose approval, it comes off the site automatically.
- Each offer page shows the date we last reviewed it, and the date we last checked it with the network.
- If an offer ever asks you to pay when we said it was free, tell us and we'll take it down while we check.
What we can't verify for you
Some details are set by each advertiser and can change at any time. Where we haven't confirmed them, our offer pages label them "From the sponsor" (not verified by us) instead of guessing:
- The sponsor's legal name, end dates and deadlines.
- Exact eligibility, such as age limits or which states are included.
- Prize values, winner selection and how rewards are paid. Sweepstakes are run by their sponsors under their own official rules, not by us.
Please read the advertiser's terms or official rules before you sign up. Our reviews are not legal advice and don't guarantee any prize or reward.
How we make money
Some advertisers pay us a referral fee when you sign up through our links. That never changes what you pay, and it doesn't decide whether an offer gets listed or how it is labeled.
